As leaders in professional development, we are standing in the winds of change — an increasingly dynamic, complex, and uncertain legal marketplace that has introduced a set of unique learning challenges for associates. This New Normal will require that we innovate with respect to associate learning generally and approaches to mentoring specifically.
For talent and development professionals the question is, Will we build shelters or windmills? That is, will we innovate? I think we must build windmills.
